Intro:
AutoCAD, OnShape, and Revit are example of CAD software that combine hand drafting with computer software. This course teaches learners to read plans and drawings in order to construct them in the real world. This class also teaches how to read and comprehend pictures, but also how to draw, write, and dimension them using pencil and paper. After learning about the drawbacks and faults of hand drawing, the course goes on to AutoCAD, a computer program that makes drafting smooth. After spending just enough time with AutoCAD to fully understand it and create drawings that a tradesman can use properly. The course then moves on to a browser program called OnShape.OnShape uses the two features of AutoCAD's 2-D drawing with easy-to-use 3-D features. The final program covered in this course is Revit, that is used to create architectural plans and blue prints. After experimenting in a number of CAD 1 applications, you'll be capable of understanding not only how to make 2-D and 3-D drawings, as well as how to read them in order to build the items described.
Mechanicals Hand Drawn Using Mechanical Drafting Tools
Mechanical drawings are drawing made using paper and pencil techniques. These types of drawings need a good understanding on how to use scales, T-squares, triangles, compasses, and pencils to indicate the exact measurements and layout of the object being drawn.

AutoCAD - Computer Aided Drafting 2D
This computer software is made by Autodesk. It is used to make mainly 2-D and 3-D drawings quickly and neatly. AutoCAD speeds up the CAD drawing process using hotkeys and other tools and the files are easily exported, saved, or sent.

OnShape - Cloud Based Computer Aided Drafting/ 3D Parametric Modeling
OnShape is a internet/cloud based CAD software used for 2-D and mainly 3-D modeling. OnShape is easy to use and web based so anyone can access it if they have internet. OnShape's catalog of materials, lessons, and tutorials allow the user to learn and quickly unlock the software full abilities. The finished project files can be easily printed, sent, and shared.

Architecture
Drawings used for residential, commercial , government buildings along with many more types. Software allows the user to create a floor plan, make multiple stories, roofs, and much more. These plans can then be printed out and used on a job site or in the marketing room to show a client.

Conclusion:
After Taking this course, I can confidently say that I can easily make 2D and 3D drawling's. I can take a blueprint of the object with dimensions and make it on the computer using the different packages we have used in this class. This class for me was one of the best classes I have taken in my high school career, I don't regret taking it at all. After taking this class I have became very interested in having a career in this type of stuff. I think I would enjoy going to work everyday knowing I am going to be working with Computer Aided Drafting software.
